About the institute

Course content is updated regularly to include the latest technological advances, research and protocols.

Located on Broadway Avenue, close to Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, Renaissance Dental and Implant Institute has a seminar room for theoretical learning, and a modern surgical facility for practical teaching. The courses are focussed, intense and intimate; a limited enrollment allows students to enjoy complete and immediate access to Dr. Karateew during both the academic and the surgical portions of the courses.

On the last evening of each course, Drs. Karateew and Sadrameli invite you to join them for a celebratory dinner at one of Vancouver’s hip, fun, and popular restaurants. Your significant others are more than welcome to join us and partake in the celebrations. Let’s relax, get to know each other better, and enjoy good company and great food.

General dentists have always understood the stigma associated with premature tooth loss, along with the problems of poor appearance, lower self esteem, decreased chewing ability, increased possibility of bone loss or additional tooth loss, and other complications. At the same time, patients are becoming more educated and more assertive in demanding implant restorations to replace missing teeth. It is predicted that by 2012, world-wide sale of dental Implants and dental bone graft material will exceed $4.5 billion.

For many decades, placing implants was the domain of the surgeons. Traditionally, the surgeon would decide on the best position of the implant and sometimes leave the general dentist the daunting task of restoring an implant that was malpositioned and/or osseointegrated. Times, and roles, are changing. General dentists are increasingly being asked about implants, their placement and restoration. In fact, “routine Implant surgery is considered by many to be less complicated and threatening to both dentists and patients than is impacted third-molar extraction.”

Incorporating implant surgery into your services:

Renaissance Dental and Implant Institute makes it easier than ever for dentists to obtain the knowledge needed to successfully place and restore implants, and grow their business.
